When I think of fall fashion, the first thing that comes to mind are boots. This fall I am all about change (as you will come to find out in an upcoming post). I love that floppy felt hats are a big hit this fall. It’s nice to take a break from my boot obsession to obsess about these lovely hats! The one shown in my pictures “flops” just right. I think they look great when contrasted with your hair color. My suggestions: Blonde hair-brown or black hat; Brown hair: tan or oxblood hat; Red hair: deep teal hat. The number one thing I hear about felt hats is “I love them, but where can I wear it?” Not to worry, I’ve come up with a few occasions to rock your latest fall accessory: brunch, girls night out, shopping, lunch dates, looking fabulous when you roll down the window in the Coffee Bean drive through… You get the point. 🙂 Speaking of Coffee Bean, have you tried their Red Velvet hot chocolate or white hot chocolate!? You can thank me later. 😉 Just don’t look at the calories… you won’t be thanking me about those.

Since there is a lot going on with the hat and the lace, I decided to pair this look with my favorite dainty necklace. This is my most worn necklace, and I can’t get enough of it. It says “B+L” (Brett + Lauren), which makes me love it even more. I get asked where I purchased it all the time so here you go folks: Made By Mary! Her customizable necklaces come in gold or silver and always look adorable with everything. I love these necklaces because they have meaning to them. I debated writing our anniversary date rather than our initials, but maybe I will do that on my next necklace!
