PROJECT 375 X LIUID
Today I’m excited to share a little about PROJECT 375, New York Jets player Brandon Marshall’s non-profit organization. PROJECT 375 is dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health. Over 100 million Americans are currently struggling with some form of mental illness, a fact that I was unaware of.
PROJECT 375 X LIUID released these limited edition shoes in support of their cause. They focus on early intervention, and prevention of mental health disorders in adolescents and children. Aren’t these sneakers cute!? What makes them even better is that $18 from every pair goes to the organization and supporting their initiatives.
The shoes feature bright green details, the official color for PROJECT 375’s campaign, and the heel tab has their official #IAMAWARE hashtag. I absolutely love the mint green color.
The Design
My favorite part about the design of their shoe is that there is a green underlay that shows through as green speckles. It represents the idea that at first glance, we all look the same, but beneath the surface over 100 million Americans are struggling with mental health.
